Being it in the middle of the winter, with barely any color left to me I thought I would give the NYX Cream Highlight & Contour Palette ($15 at ULTA) a shot!

I've never known how to contour but I figured not a huge deal the back of the package has a description with picture that shows exactly which shade to put where. What I was hoping to gain from this palette was a super easy way to get a little dimension to my face without being over baring.
When I first tried to apply I noticed the cream texture was not very pleasant. Almost like if you get sidewalk chalk a little bit wet; yeah it feels like that... not good.
You can't apply with a brush because it's a cream palette and when ever you try and apply with your finger you have to really apply pressure to the palette so at least little bit of color will stick to your fingers. Trying to evenly distribute the colors to the appropriate places takes more time and effort than it's worth. I found that this palette had barely any pigmintation to it, very poor quality.
This contour palette was a super let down, maybe powder contour is the way to go...
Any suggestuons of which contour palette I should try, leave them down below!
Review: 1 star out of 5
Favorite thing: includes a highlight, contour, and a shimmer
Least favorite thing: how difficult to apply, greasy
